§ 54-36. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Normal household trash and garbage means animal, vegetable and fruit refuse matter and other refuse matter ordinarily generated as byproducts of a household such as tin cans, bottles, paper, cardboard, plastics and wrapping or packaging materials, and specifically does not include items such as industrial waste, fence wire, building material, household appliances, furniture and dead animals.

    Trash dumpsters means those certain trash containers owned by the county and placed along the rights-of-way in various locations in the unincorporated areas of the county for use by the citizens of the county for the disposal of normal household trash and garbage.
