§ 46-1. Installation of driveways by county.

  • (a)

    The county will install a driveway to a residence or mobile home provided the following requirements are met:

    (1)

    A certificate of approval of the septic tank and drainfield must be obtained from the county health sanitarian.

    (2)

    In the case of a mobile home, a current mobile home site permit must be affixed or a letter must be obtained from the tax commissioner stating that taxes have been paid.

    (3)

    Location, installation procedures and pipe size must be approved by the road superintendent.

    (4)

    Cost of materials must be paid in advance.

    (b)

    If other driveways are requested at locations other than where a residence or mobile home is to be located, subsections (a)(3) and (4) of this section will apply.

    (c)

    No county equipment or personnel will be permitted to work on private property.
